I’m a student athlete who enjoys competitive running and cooking.  While certainly a more developed runner than chef, I nevertheless enjoy experimenting with recipes that are both healthy and simple (usually).

Readers may notice that most of the recipes I post yield a small number of servings, sometimes just a single serving.  This is because I’m not cooking for many people.  If you’re single, live in a small family, or wish to practice portion control, you may find the size of the recipes to be quite conducive to your lifestyle.  If not, most of the recipes can be doubled, tripled, and possibly even quadrupled.  Feel free to tinker!

When I’m not pouring over a textbook or cooking in the kitchen, you’ll most likely find me on the trails or on a track running repeats.  Some say it’s masochistic; I say hardcore dedication.  It’s all relative.  But regardless of where you find me, I’m always exploring – learning culinary chemistry, seeking knowledge, and testing the places to which I can physically push my body and mind.
